Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Studies

Our organization and educational establishments in St. Petersburg have a special agreement for foreign students admission, where the educational entrance requirements have been reduced to a high school or equivalent certificate of finishing 12 grades.

If the admission committee decides that your qualification do not meet the requirements, we can collaborate the preparatory course, which will upgrade your high school knowledge to the admission requirements of the educational establishments.

A certificate stating that the candidate has completed the preparatory faculty in a recognized higher educational establishment (required for Russian Language courses) – 6-8 months.

Admission Procedure

The filled application form should be accompanied by the following documents (submitted to us by Fax, or Post) 

1). Attested/notarized copies of 
~Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation)/O Level

~Higher Secondary Certificate/F.Sc (Intermediate)/ "A" Level/Grade-12 (American School)-students awaiting results are eligible for provisional admission

~National Identification

~Academic Certificates/OR Marks Sheets

~Valid Passport (only the pages which consist of passport details)
~Birth Certificate (attested)

2). Ten recent passport size photographs.

3). A medical certificate from a medical doctor certifying that an your physical and mental health positions are suitable to start university education

4). HIV negative certificate required to obtain the Russian visa. Your photograph should preferably be pasted and sealed on that report. 

5). Certificate stating that you are not color blind person (for candidate wishing to study medicine)

6). Submission of an eligibility certificate from the Medical Council of (only for Indian Nationals) once the same has been received from the authorities. (But also note that this is not required to be submitted for application to the university) Please note the responsibility of obtaining the same lies with the student. 
6). 500 US $ (admission fee + processing charges-non refundable) can only be paid directly to Sailan office "OR" via pay order in favor of " The International Educational Consultancy ". The fee of 500 US $ are required for the followings

        1).300 US $ for processing charges which includes

          `Forwarding of your documents to university/academy of Saint Petersburg, Russia

          `Processing of your application within the university/academy

          `Issuing of letter of invitation from ministry of foreign affairs Russia

          `Finally your original  invitation will be posted on your postal address (Please note that the cost of  

           the Courier has to be borne by the student).

        2).200 US $ for Payment of admission fee within the university/academy to get   

            admission confirmation letter.

(Note: Processing charges (including admission fee) for universities other than Saint Petersburg are 1000 US $).
Important: If you have applied for some of the documents mentioned above & waiting for their issuance, please let us inform so that your application could be proceeded in the meantime.

Once we receive the required documents, they are forwarded to the admission committee of the desired educational establishment. In the event of definite acceptance of the application, a student entry visa for the candidate will be processed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation within 10-12 working days. Within 20 working days our organization will send the invitation to the relevant consulate with a copy to you. Once you receive the invitation you are free to apply for the student entrance visa to the relevant consulate. International Educational Consultancy does not collect the university fees and the student will pay the same in St. Petersburg himself.

As the requirement to apply for Russian visa may vary from country to country, you may be asked to present followings in addition to invitation

~Originals of your educational certificates and other documents

~Original birth certificate

~A medical certificate from a medical doctor certifying that your physical and mental health positions are suitable to start university education

~HIV negative certificate required to obtain the Russian visa. Your photograph should preferably be pasted and sealed on that report. 

~Certificate stating that you are not color blind person (for candidate wishing to study medicine)
~Present bank statement either of yourself or a guaranteer willing to cover your expenses and educational fee during your stay in Russia.

For further assistance before applying for Russian visa you should consult Russian cultural centre of your country. The International Educational Consultancy together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation guarantee that the embassy will issue you an student visa on an invitation issued by us.

You should bring the following to Russia:

~Originals of your educational certificates and other documents (It is recommended that copies of all documents are certified at the relevant embassies of the Russian Federation)

~Original birth certificate with its two photocopies (attested)

~A medical certificate from a medical doctor certifying that your physical and mental health positions are suitable to start university education

~HIV negative certificate required to obtain the Russian visa. Your photograph should preferably be pasted and sealed on that report. 

~Certificate stating that you are not color blind person (for candidate wishing to study medicine)

~Certification & Agreement with International Educational Consultancy that a candidate agree with our rules and regulations

~Money to cover your personal expenses and educational fee.

Please note that the student visa will be provided by the higher educational establishment only for the period for which a student has paid his/her educational fee. Therefore before applying for Russian visa, you have to make sure your departure to Saint Petersburg for study. The student is strictly advised to inform the office of International Educational Consultancy of his/her departure to Russia, this is to ensure that the Russian immigration department is informed of the arrival and to ensure that as per the local laws, the student is not deported back to his country. This information would also ensure that our representative is at the Airport to receive you.  

Please note that arrangement for reception can be done only with prior information about the students departure. As per the immigration rule of the Russian Federation, we need to inform them about the arrival of the student, failing which the student is likely to be deported

Also note that under the passport & visa regulations of the Russian federation you have to handover your passport and  visa to educational establishment through signing a contract with the International Educational Consultancy within 3 days of your arrival to Saint Petersburg. Failure to comply with this regulation could lead to the student being fined or even deported back to home country.

The academic year begins on the 1st of September and therefore it is recommended that students submit their applications before the 20th of August. Late admissions could also be organized through our organization as special cases.

Some educational establishments work on non standard academic years. In the months of September/October new batches are enrolled every two weeks. In some educational establishments the admissions are accepted in September and January. Therefore please contact us for current admission dates.
