  •      Bank and money transactions?
  •      Most students use the Western Union money transfer system to receive money from home. There are also a lot of ATM’s where you can withdraw cash using your credit card and international banks. (Citibank, ANZ, Hunder’s Bank, Barkleys etc.) We recommend that students and others convert their currency into roubles only at authorized exchange booths or banks. These are located all around the city and some are even open 24 hours. Also it is easier to exchange U.S.$ into roubles at a good rate and therefore recommended that anyone who visits Russia , bring their cash in U.S.$ for added convenience. Traveller's cheques and other kinds of money vouchers are also exchangeable. If urgent money transfers are needed, IEC can help to transfer money from countries where it has its representative offices. ( Pakistan,India, Sri Lanka, Sweden, U.K. etc) Your Educational fees could be directly transferred to our bank account from anywhere in the world so you would not have to carry cash with you.
